Before Dordt... played catcher and corner infielder at Summit Christian Academy (Missouri)...was a first-team all-conference and all-district choice and earned second-team all-state honors in 2020...was named the conference player of the year in 2022 while also claiming first team all-state honors...earned second team all-state honors in 2021.
