Before Dordt…played for Canton High School (Michigan)…got credit for 51 and two-third innings pitched in 2019 and struck out 57 batters while recording a 6-1 record with a 0.95 earned run average… earned all-conference and all-district honors along with being named a 2019 KLAA Scholar-Athlete.
