Before Dordt... Started 100 games for Unity Christian High School (Iowa) and totaled over 100 hits with a .364 batting average...is in the top-10 career standings in Unity in hits, doubles, homeruns, batting average, slugging percentage, runs batted in, runs scored and sacrifices  and had 600 putouts on defense...1st Team all-conference in 2025 and 2022, second team in 2023 and honorable mention in 2024...claimed 3rd Team all-state and earned all-district honors.
