Before Dordt...batted .444 while compiling 166 hits with 41 doubles, 17 triples, 17 homeruns and 116 runs batted in while playing for Wilsner-Pilger (Nebraska)...three-time all-conference and 1st team Omaha World Herald and Lincoln Journal Star  all-state.
