Briar Cliff is coming off its first GPAC win of the season with a 25-16, 20-25, 25-20, 22-25, 16-14 win over Mount Marty in Sioux City on Saturday night. Chloe Johnson had 21 kills and 16 digs while Alexis Johnson put away 12 kills and Sami Wasmund added 11 kills. Tannah Heath put up 49 assists and Wasmund had seven block assists and one solo block

The Defenders beat Briar Cliff on September 28 by a 3-0 count of 25-13, 25-5, 25-17. Dordt is 10-0 against the Chargers in the last five years.

Grace Langemeier had seven kills.
