The Dordt University men's soccer team shutout Presentation 4-0 in a conference match played this afternoon in Aberdeen, S.D.
The Defenders remain unbeaten in the GPAC, improving to 4-0-4 in the league, 6-2-6 overall. They push their unbeaten streak to 10 matches (5-0-5). The host Saints fall to 0-8 in the conference, 2-10-1 overall.Â
How It Happened...
- scoreless until the 19th minute, Dordt freshman Evan Beier netted the game's first goal from with a straigh-on shot from around 15-yards out
- with the score still 1-0, Dordt's Kaleb Lee received an errant pass from the Saints and blasted a shot past Presentation goalkeeper Eure Baris for Dordt second goal at the 56th minute mark
- Blake Hansen converted a penalty kick during the 62nd minute for 3-0 Defenders lead
- with under a minute left, Jacob Narkis scored the game's final goal on a breakaway; it was the freshman's first goal of the season
