(Monday, December 5; Sioux Center, Iowa) Molly Zylstra, a senior at Unity Christian High School (Iowa), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender track and field program.
"We are thrilled that Molly has chosen Dordt to continue her education, and that she will be joining the track and field program. Molly is a tremendous athlete and an even better person. She is a great leader on her high school team, and she is one of the best high jumpers in the state of Iowa. She exemplifies the Defender Way and we look forward to working with her and seeing what God has in store for her in the future," said Dordt track and field coach Craig Heynen.
Zylstra is a high jumper and has a personal best of 5-7. She's competed at the Drake Relays and at the Iowa State Track and Field Championships in both 2021 and 2022.

Molly is the daugher of Mark and Gina Zylstra of Orange City, Iowa. She plans to enter the pre-chiropractic program at Dordt University.
