The Dordt University men's soccer team played to a scoreless draw against Briar Cliff in the conference opener for both teams.
The Defenders are now 2-2-3 this season; Briar Cliff moves to 2-4-1.
Mitchell Dryden stopped a season-high 10 Briar Cliff shots on-goal to lead the Defenders.

Briar Cliff totaled 11 shots on-goal, led by Nicolas Karlsen (3) and Francisco Gomez (2). Coy Leytham made three saves as the Chargers goalkeeper.
Dordt will play in its final non-conference match of the season on Saturday, Sept. 17 against Coe at 7:30pm in Cedar Rapids.
