The Dordt University women's soccer team held off a late Carroll goal to down the Saints 2-1 on the final Friday match of the Pizza Ranch Classic.
The Defenders earned their second consecutive win and evened their record to 2-2; Carroll lost for the first time this season and falls to 2-1-1.

Avril Baccam received a pass from
Shayla Van Beek and touched it past Saints goal keeper Sarah Conway for a 2-0 lead. Amaya Winker cut the Defenders lead down to one with a goal seven minutes later, during the 78th minute.
