The Dordt University women's soccer team picked up a huge 4-0 road win against the University of Jamestown in a pivotal GPAC match played tonight under the lights on the Jimmies home turf in Jamestown, N.D.
The Defenders extend their unbeaten streak to six matches (5-0-1) and improve their record to 5-2-2 (GPAC), 8-4-2 overall. Jamestown, a team they were tied with the standings, falls to 4-3-2 in the conference, 4-6-3 overall.
Dordt needed less than four minutes to net its first goal as
Keely Kolbrek received a corner kick from
Abby Worthy and touched it past Jamestown goalie Tea Pence. Four minutes later,
Joslyn Terpstra put the Defenders up 2-0 when she stepped in front of an attempted clear by Jamestown and drove a shot into the corner of the goal.

Ellie Stuart one-timed a pass from
Abby Worthy into the right corner of the goal during the 17th minute.

Tel scored the Defenders final goal when she dribbled up the left side of the field, cut it back towards the middle and ripped a left-foot shot high into the back of the net.
