Defenders traveled to Hastings College for their final away contest of the 2023 regular season where they lost by a score of 3-2.
The Broncos got on the scoreboard in the 33rd minute off a penalty kick converted by Broncos forward, Ruben Bande. They worked quick and scored again a few minutes later in the 37th minute. Ayo Makinde found himself with a one-on-one with Defenders' goalkeeper,
Mitchell Dryden, after passes by Dongho Oh and Juan Rubio. Makinde chipped it over Dryden for the Broncos' second goal of the evening. They would enter the break with a 2-0 lead.

Moscardo cut the lead in half in the 54th minute. Anton
Forsch took the ball into the 18-yard box and crossed it to
Moscardo who played it off his chest and finished with a volley to the back post.
Blake Hansen tied it up in the 57th minute. Marco Laenen took the ball down the right sideline and into the 18-yard box where he found Hansen. Hansen took a one-time shot and found back of the net to even the game up at two goals apiece.
The game would remain tied until the 85th minute where Will Turner scored the game winning goal off a long cross from Juan Arteaga-Lopez.
