A Look at the GPAC Tournament:
- The 8-team postseason tournament begins Wednesday, Nov.1 with four quarterfinal matches. Top-seed Briar Cliff plays host to No.8 seed Dakota Wesleyan in the lone afternoon match beginning at 1pm in Sioux City. The remaining three quarterfinals contests all have 7pm start times (full schedule below):

The four winners of the quarterfinal matches advance to the GPAC semifinals on Saturday, Nov.4 with the highest remaining seeds hosting at times to be determined. The 2023 postseason championship match will be held on Thursday, Nov.9 at the highest remaining seed.
GPAC Tournament History... The 2023 season is the 16th time the Defenders have qualified for the postseason tournament since the GPAC began in 2000. Dordt has qualified for the postseason back-to-back seasons for the first time since 2016-17. The Defenders are 5-15 all-time in the postseason, 5-10 in the quarterfinal round. They advanced to the conference semifinals last year with a 3-1 win against Morningside, their first trip to the semifinals since 2014.

Concordia has qualified for 17 of the 24 GPAC postseason tournaments (2005-06 was regional only), including in each of the last 14 years. They are 14-14 all-time in the conference tournament and have won two titles (2015 and 2022). Concordia defeated Hastings in penalty kicks (4-2) in the championship match last year and earned shutout wins against Briar Cliff (quarterfinals) and Dordt (semifinals).
