Dordt ties Morningside 1-1
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Dordt Defenders forced a tie of their contest with Morningside on Saturday night in Sioux City, Iowa, finishing the 90-minute contest in a 1-1 stalemate.
Morningside's goal came early and was unassisted with Fabian Anderson scoring in the sixth minute.
Dordt's equalizer didn't come until the 72
nd minute when
Arnau Gonzalez scored off an assist by
Robin Grewohl.
Both teams had three shots after the score was tied with Dordt putting two on frame before regulation ended.

- Morningside had 28 shots and 11 on goal.
- Mitch Dryden toiled in goal and had 10 saves.
- Gonzalez's goal was the first of the season and Grewohl's assist was his third.
