Women's Volleyball Commit | Haley Kuperus

(Tuesday, November 21; Sioux Center, Iowa) Haley Kuperus, a senior at Unity Christian High School (Iowa), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender volleyball program.

"I am so excited to have Haley join the Dordt volleyball program. She is a powerful attacker and a force at the net blocking. Every time I watch Haley she gets better and better- she hasn't even come close to reaching it.
Haley's desire to lead others in a Christlike manner and relentless drive to improve are a few reasons why she's a great fit for our program," said Dordt volleyball coach Jacki Smith

Kuperus is a 6-0 middle blocker who earned second-team all-conference honors in both 2022 and 2023 and she averaged 2.0 kills and 1.0 blocks per set over those two seasons.

"I love how Dordt incorporates a Christian worldview into their academics and athletics," said Kuperus.

Haley is the daughter of Angela and Nathan Kuperus of Ireton, Iowa. She plans to study education at Dordt.
