Lindeman Commits To Defender Volleyball

(Wednesday, September 20; Sioux Center, Iowa) Brianna Lindeman, a senior at Dell Rapids St. Mary's High School (South Dakota), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender volleyball program.  

"I am very excited about Brianna's commitment to Dordt! Her joyful personality and hard-working attitude will help her fit in perfectly with our team," said Dordt volleyball coach Jacki Smith.  

Lindeman is a 5-7 setter and has over 1,000 career assists in high school and has earned all-conference honorable mention honors and holds her school record for assists. Lindeman also plays for Kairos Elite Volleyball Club.  

"I chose Dordt for the excellent academics, the positive Christian atmosphere and the opportunity to play volleyball," said Lindeman. 

Brianna is the daughter of Emily and Nathan Lindeman of Dell Rapids, South Dakota. She plans to study graphic design at Dordt. 

Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. The Defender athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC), American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) and the Mid-American Collegiate Hockey Association (MACHA).?   

U.S. News & World Report, Money Magazine, Forbes.com, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,500 students.
