The Dordt Defender women's basketball team used a 13-2 run over the final four minutes of the first quarter to establish a double-digit lead and eventually rolled to a 96-58 win over Waldorf on Wednesday night, November 20 in Sioux Center.

A Desta Hoogendoorn layup started a 10-0 run for the Defenders on the way to a 23-12 lead and a Willow Bleeker three-point shot just before the first quarter buzzer put Dordt up 26-14. The lead quickly went to over 20 with Janie Van Donge scoring a basket at the 6:51 mark of the second quarter for a 38-17 lead and Dordt went up 57-27 at halftime as Van Donge capped a 7-0 run with a putback of a missed shot at the horn.
The third quarter was played evenly most of the way with Dordt getting another Bleeker basket right before the horn for a 76-44 lead. Dordt's lead went to as many as 40 in the fourth quarter before Dordt won 96-58.
