Box Score (PDF)

Concordia scored on its first three possessions and was up 7-0 just over a minute into the game.  Connor Millikan got a pair of free throws and added a three-point basket to get the Defenders going.  A Lucas Lorenzen basket at the 17:09 mark tied it and Millikan had a layup to give Dordt a 9-7 lead at the 16:46 mark.

Dordt eventually scored 16 points in a row and never relinquished the lead. Concordia did cut the lead to one with 12:40 left in the half at 16-15 but three straight three-point baskets by the Defenders gave Dordt its first 10 point lead and the Defenders managed a 56-41 halftime lead.

Dordt led by as many as 19 in the second half but the Bulldogs rallied to within 78-68 with 9:17 remaining. A Jake Hargens basket followed by a turnover and Ty Van Esen basket effectively ended the threat and Dordt's lead was never less than 14 the rest of the game.
