(Friday, November 22; Sioux Center, Iowa) Mason Harper, a senior at Fort Worth Country Day (Texas), has announced his intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender golf program.
Harper has been the captain of the golf teams for two seasons.
"Dordt is a great school with great academics and athletic facilities. I really liked everyone I met and the environment of the school. I think it is a great fit for me, and somewhere I can grow my faith and all aspects of my life," said Harper.
Mason is the son of Gwen and Jim Harper of Fort Worth, Texas. He plans to study business administration.
Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. The Defender athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC), American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) and the Mid-American Collegiate Hockey Association (MACHA).
U.S. News & World Report, Money Magazine, Forbes.com, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,500 students.
