GAME 1
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Dordt Defenders surrendered a 4-0 first inning lead and fell 5-4 against Concordia in game one of their doubleheader in Sioux Center, Iowa on Friday, March 29.
Dordt scored four in the first inning with a leadoff homerun by Phoenix West and then a three-run homerun by Drew Oreskes for a 4-0 lead. The advantage held until the fourth when Concordia got two across and two solo home runs in the fifth inning tied the game.
Concordia got the winning run on Jaidan Quinn's second homerun of the game and Maverick Wylder worked a scoreless seventh to record the save.

HOW IT HAPPENED
A 12 run first inning pushed Concordia to a sweep of Dordt in their baseball contests on Friday, March 29. Concordia added a run each in the third and fourth and the game ended after seven innings.
Nate Eliason and Drew Oreskes each had hits in the first and second innings but the Defenders couldn't get a run across.
