Football | Defenders Move To No. 7 In Poll

(Tuesday, October 21; Sioux Center, Iowa) The Dordt Defender football team moved to no. 7 in the NAIA Coaches' Poll released on Monday, October 20.

Dordt improved to 6-0 this season with a 33-13 win over Mount Marty on Saturday, October 18 and the Defenders will host Midland this Saturday.  Room was made for Dordt to move up with Lindsey Wilson (Kentucky), Morningside (Iowa) and St. Thomas (Florida) absorbing losses on Saturday.

Grand View stayed atop the poll and there are seven unbeaten teams in the top-25 this week.  Fellow GPAC members Morningside (11), Concordia (23), Northwestern (24) and Midland (Receiving Votes) are in the poll this week with four games remaining.
