(Wednesday; October 29, Sioux Center, Iowa) The seventh regular season edition of the NAIA Football Coaches' Top 25 Poll has been released and the Dordt Defenders are no. 6 in the weekly voting.

Dordt earned a 17-14 win over Midland and never trailed on Saturday in Sioux Center, Iowa. Dordt scored 10 points in the third quarter to pull away from a 7-7 halftime tie and recovered a late onside kick to help secure the win after a Midland fourth quarter touchdown.

Dordt is 7-0 and will face Hastings on Saturday, November 1 after Hastings moved to 4-4 this season with a win over Mount Marty in Yankton, South Dakota.  The Defenders took 359 points in the voting and moved up after Campbellsville (Kentucky) dropped from no.6  to no. 11 after a loss.

Morningside moved back into the top-10 and are 6-2 after a convincing win over Concordia and Northwestern is no. 23  Concordia is in the receiving votes category of the poll.
