The Dordt University hockey team scored three goals in the final period to earn a 6-3 win over Maryville (Mo.) in a Saturday afternoon match played at the Vernon Ice  Arena.

The Defenders push their win streak to 13 and improve to 13-1 on the season. This was the second straight win over the Saints as the Defenders earned a 4-0 victory on Friday night.

Rylan Veenstra netted the game-winner at the 8:13 mark of the third period, his second goal of the game and 17th of the season.
