The Dordt Defenders were swept in a GPAC baseball doubleheader in Sioux Center on Friday afternoon, March 21. Morningside won the first game 11-0 and turned in an 11-1 win in seven innings in game two.

GAME 1
Morningside scored three unearned runs in the third inning and added four in the fifth on the way to the 11-0 win. Dordt's best chance to score came in the fifth inning when
Matthew McMillian singled to advance
Drew Oreskes to second and a passed ball put runners at the corners. After a stolen base the Defenders were retired to end the threat.

GAME 2
The Morningside Mustangs scored at least one run in the first five innings on the way to an 11-1 win. Dordt was down 10-0 in the bottom of the fifth when
Gabriel McFarland was hit by a pitch with one out and
Jimmy Twombly tripled to left field to get the run in.
Morningside then got the eventual game ending run with a homerun lead off the seventh and Dordt stranded two runners in the home half of the seventh as the game ended with the 10-run difference rule.
