Dordt lost two in Orange City against Northwestern in Great Plains Athletic Conference baseball on Saturday afternoon, March 22. Dordt lost a 5-4 decision game one and 11-4 in game two.

GAME 1 RECAP                   
Jimmy Twombly and Carson Belcher hit back to back homeruns to start the game and Logan Templeton had a run scoring single in the fifth inning to put Dordt up 3-1.  Northwestern responded with three in the bottom of the fifth and after Chissum Demmers homered in the sixth to tie the game Northwestern manufactured a run for a 5-4 decision.

GAME 2 RECAP
A four run seventh inning allowed Northwestern significant breathing room on the way to an 11-4 win in game two. Jimmy Twombly reached on an error allowing Morgan Wilkins to score in the third inning and Northwestern took the lead on a two-run homerun for a 2-1 lead. Joey Schlesselman knocked in Logan Templeton with a single in the fourth inning and Twombly knocked his second homer of the day to tie  the game again at 3-3 after five innings.

Northwestern struck for four runs in the sixth inning and added four more after a Morgan Wilkins homer in the seventh. Northwestern's four runs in the seventh made the final 11-4.
