(Monday, March 31; Sioux Center, Iowa) The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2024-25 NAIA Women's Basketball All-America Teams along with the 2025 NAIA Player of the Year and Dordt has two players honored after its second NAIA National Championship.
Macy Sievers (Junior; Storm Lake, Iowa) was named the Player of the Year and First Team NAIA All-American for the second straight year and
Janie Van Donge (Senior; Hospers, Iowa) was named to the NAIA All-American Second Team.
Sievers recently completed a season where she was named First Team All-GPAC and GPAC Player of the Year and was named to the NAIA National Championship All-Tournament Team and was the Championship MVP for a second straight. Sievers averaged 15.6 points per game this season with 7.6 rebounds and 7.8 assists per game this season. In the six NAIA National Championship games this year Sievers averaged 16.7 points, 9.1 assists and 7.7 rebounds per contest and recorded two triple-doubles. She has scored 1,315 (7
th all-time) career points, grabbed 694 rebounds (13
th all-time), 732 assists (1
st all-time) , 279 steals (2
nd all-time) and has made 124 three-point shots (9
th all-time).
Van Donge was also named First Team All-GPAC this season and was named to the NAIA National Championship All-Tournament Team and earned the Hustle Award for the second straight year. Van Donge led the team in scoring with a 16.3 points per game average and took in 10.2 rebounds per game while converting 56.5 percent of her field goal attempts. In the six NAIA National Championship games Van Donge averaged15.2 points and 11.7 rebounds per game while converting 61 percent of her field goal attempts. Van Donge graduates from the Dordt program with 1,741 points (4

This is the first time a Dordt athlete has been named the NAIA Basketball Player of the Year and the seventh straight season a Dordt women's basketball player has been named a NAIA All-American.
