Dordt lost a pair of games to Siena Heights (Mich.) and Lawrence Tech (Mich.) on Saturday, March 8 in Florida. The Defenders resume play on Monday before returning to Iowa.

Siena Heights stopped Dordt's four game winning streak with a 12-3 win Saturday morning. A seven run fifth inning by the Saints changed the complexion of the game dramatically.
The Defenders had a 3-2 lead after recovering from a Siena Heights two-run first inning with Chase Demmers reaching on an error that got
Morgan Wilkins in during the second inning and
Drew Oreskes double in the third scored
Carson Belcher and Jimmy Twombley for a 3-2 lead.
The lead held until the fifth inning when Siena Heights plated seven runs on six hits to take control of the game and went on to add three more in the sixth.

VS LAWRENCE TECH
Lawrence Tech scored five in the third and added two more each in the fifth and sixth before Dordt scored three in the bottom of the sixth. Dordt was outhit in the game 15-3 and left 11 stranded in absorbing their second loss of the day to drop to 9-11 this season with a doubleheader against Aquinas remaining on Monday.
Dordt's run came on a bases loaded walk and an error with the bases full in the sixth and
Gabriel McFarland delivered an rbi single that made it 9-3 before Lawrence Tech scored four in the top of the seventh.
