The Dordt Defender men's golf team finished seventh in the Red Raider Invite on Wednesday, April 16 at Landsmeer Golf Course in Orange City, Iowa. The Defenders shot a 36-hole score of 301-298=599 and was one stroke behind Concordia and two strokes behind Mount Marty in fifth place. Northwestern won the event with a 284-277=561.

David Chacon led the Defenders with a 75-71=146 and finished tied for eighth and
Caden Koole and
Leyton Roetman both 151. Northwestern's Axton Miller, Evan Smith and Qwenton Caldwell all shot 138 to share first place honors.
The meet was held under breezy and warm conditions and featured 10 total teams from six different schools. 53 golfers made up the field.
The is Dordt's final competition before the GPAC Championship held on Monday and Tuesday, April 21 and 22 in Beatrice, Nebraska.
