(Friday, April 25; Sioux Center, Iowa) Isabelle Habashy, a senior at Bakersfield Christian High School (California), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender swim program.

Intended Field of Study: Agriculture
Honors & Highlights:  Served as team captain and qualified for section championships in each of her high school seasons. Has personal bests of 27.22 in the 50 free; 1:14 in the 100 breaststroke; 3:00 in the 200 breaststroke and 1:10.5 in the 100 butterfly.
 
Why Dordt: "I choose Dordt because I wanted to continue my education in a Christian atmosphere, my studies in agriculture and continue swimming. Everyone I met at Dordt made me feel welcome when I toured the campus."
