Women's Track and Field | Mount Marty Open Preview

The Event: 

  • the Dordt University women's track and field team will compete in its third meet of the indoor season, the Mount Marty Open, this weekend
  • the two-day meet begins on Friday, Jan.16 at 1pm with the first of five events in the pentathlon
  • day two on Saturday, Jan.17  begins at 11am with the first field event while running events start at 1pm
  • the meet will be held at the Ruth Donohoe First Dakota Fieldhouse on the campus of Mount Marty University in Yankton, S.D.

 Schedule Outlook:

  • the Defenders indoor season consists of 10 meets (regular season) in seven different weekends, leading up to the GPAC Indoor Championship on Feb.20-21
  • this is the third meet of the indoor season 
  • Dordt will host the GPAC Indoor Championship on Feb.20-21
  • the NAIA National Championship will be on March 5-7 in Gainesville, Fla.
