The Dordt University women's track and field team turned in a strong weekend of competition at the Mount Marty Open, held at the Ruth Donohue Fieldhouse, qualifying three events for the NAIA National Championships while collecting eight event victories against solid competition.
Notes:
- the Defenders dominated the mid-distance and distance races for the second consecutive meet, winning the 400m, 600m, 1000m, mile and the 3000m
- Dordt had four individuals place in the top five in both the 1000m and mile
- the Defenders had one first place finish in a field event and a total of seven top five finishes in the field events
- Dordt won both relays for the second consecutive meet
