Set two proved to be another back-and-forth affair, featuring 11 ties and four lead changes as neither side led by more than two points for the majority of the frame. The teams swapped side-outs all the way to an 18–18 standstill before Dordt made its decisive move. With
Carlee Jackson at the service line, the Defenders capitalized on consecutive Midland attack errors and a

Set 4 (Midland 25, Dordt 21)
The fourth frame saw five ties and two lead changes with major momentum swings on both sides. Midland took an early 4–1 lead, but Dordt roared back with a 5–0 scoring run on

Breanna Beckering,
Ellie Weg, and
Laney Wolfswinkel—to flip a 7–5 deficit into a 10–7 advantage. The Defenders stayed in front and led 20–18 when Midland mounted a dramatic 6–0 surge ignited by Abree Plueger, who served three aces alongside kills from Brooklynn Snyder to put the Warriors at set point, 24–20.
Haley Kuperus staved off the first set point with a kill, but Avery Couch connected on a set from Brena Mackling on the next rally to give Midland the 25–21 victory and force a deciding fifth set.
Set 5 (Dordt 15, Midland 10)
