Pedro Brandao has qualified for the NAIA National Swim Championships at the Elkhart Aquatics Center in Elkhart, Indiana March 4-7.

Brandao will compete on Friday and Saturday in the 100 and 200 breaststroke.  His bests in the events are 56.48 and 2:04.38 respectively and he ranks 23^rd and 19^th in the fields.

The best time in the field for the 100 is 52.55 and 1:56.59 in the 200.

The 100 prelims will be Friday, March 6 in the 9:00am session and the finals will be held the same day in the 5:00pm session. The 200 competition will be on Saturday with the prelims again in the morning session and the finals in the final session of the meet Saturday evening.

Brandao is the first Dordt swimmer to qualify for the NAIA Swim National Championship.
