The Event
The Dordt University women's golf team will compete at the GPAC Championship on Monday and Tuesday, April 27 and 28 at Dakota Dunes in North Sioux City, South Dakota. The teams will play 27-holes on Monday and come back with the final 27-holes on Tuesday.

GPAC Championship 2025
The Dordt Defender women's golf team moved up two spots in the final round of the GPAC Championship held in Cairo, Nebraska and finished fifth in the team standings after a charge that got them all the way into fourth before settling for the fifth place finish.
Julia Love led the effort with a final round 74 to claim third place overall and help the Defenders to a 322 on the final 18 holes.

Dordt shot a 340-334-322=996 and finished five strokes behind Briar Cliff as the Chargers went 337-329-325=991 and moved from sixth to fourth. Doane won the team title by three strokes after entering Tuesday tied with Dakota Wesleyan. Doane shot a 311 in the final round to card a 54-hole score of 955.
Love's third place GPAC finish is the best ever for a Dordt women's golfer and her 74 on Tuesday is the best in program history.
Katherine Beekman finished tied for 19
th in the field with an 83-82-83=248 and Love had an 81-79-74=234.
Jillian Eidsness recorded a 77 on Tuesday and turned in a 255. The fifth place team finish is also the best on record for Dordt at the GPAC Championship.
This brings the 2024-25 season to a close for the Defenders.

Dordt totaled a 339 on the 18-hole competition and was five strokes in front of Briar Cliff with Morningside winning the event with a 317.
Ashlee Sweeter and
Jillian Eidsness both shot 81s to lead the Defenders and tied for fifth place. Ivanna Becerra-Diaz from Morningside had a 76 to claim medalist honors.
