(Wednesday, April 29; Sioux Center, Iowa) Bethany Vrooman, a senior at Resurrection Christian High School (Colorado), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender basketball team.

Highlights:  Averaged 16.5 points per game in 2025-26 with 6.4 rebounds and 3.9 steals.  Was the conference player of the year and a first team all-state performer and the Class 3A Mile High Senior of the Year. Was part of three conference champions and the 2024-25 state championship team.
