(Monday, June 29; Sioux Center, Iowa) The 2025-26 Academic All-District Men's Cross Country/Track & Field Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and the classroom. Six Dordt athletes earned the honor.

Luke Swanson (Senior; Greenfield, Minnesota),
Micah Schaap (Senior; Edgerton, Minnesota),
Ezra Landman (Sophomore; Sioux Center, Iowa),
Levi Landman (Senior; Sioux Center, Iowa)
Truman Johnson (Sophomore; Saline, Michigan), and
Willem Den Hartog (Junior; Nampa, Idaho) were all named to the team.
Swanson placed fifth at the GPAC Cross Country Championships in November, finished seventh in the 5,000 meters at the GPAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, and was part of the sixth-place 4x800-meter relay team at the NAIA Indoor National Championships. Swanson graduated with a degree in engineering and a 3.80 grade point average.
Schaap placed third in the long jump at both the GPAC Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field Championships. He graduated with a degree in graphic design and a 3.68 grade point average.
Johnson won the GPAC Cross Country individual championship and was a three-time All-GPAC performer in indoor and outdoor track & field. He is studying agricultural service and business administration and has a 3.71 grade point average.
Ezra Landman was a four-time All-GPAC performer and was also a member of the sixth-place 4x800-meter relay team at the NAIA Indoor National Championships. He has a 3.96 grade point average and is studying kinesiology.
Levi Landman earned All-GPAC honors in outdoor track & field. He graduated with a  3.76 grade point average and studied biology.
Den Hartog won the GPAC indoor pole vault title, finished runner-up at the GPAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, and earned NAIA national runner-up honors in the pole vault in May. He has a 3.74 grade point average and is studying biology.
To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must have attended their institution for at least one year, maintain at least a 3.5 grade point average, and finish among the top 25 in their conference championship competition. Academic All-District selections now advance to the national ballot, where College Sports Communicators members vote on the Academic All-America teams. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced July 14 and July 15.
