(Thursday, June 4; Sioux Center, Iowa)Â The 2025-26 Academic All-District Baseball Teams, selected by the College Sports Communicators, have been announced. The honor recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom, and four Dordt baseball players earned the distinction.

Logan Harris (Senior; Harrington Park, Australia), Joseph Schlesselman (Junior; Santa Clarita, California), Bennett Spronk (Senior; Pella, Iowa), and Lincoln Vander Molen (Junior; Pella, Iowa) all earned recognition. Harris, Schlesselman, and Spronk are two-time honorees, while Vander Molen earned the award for the first time.
Harris graduated in May with a degree in Kinesiology and carried a 3.82 grade point average. A two-time All-GPAC selection, he led the team with a .341 batting average this season, collecting 43 hits and driving in 31 runs. Harris concludes his career with 158 hits, ranking fifth on Dordt's all-time list.
Schlesselman has compiled a 3.94 grade point average through three years at Dordt while studying Accounting and Business Administration: Finance. He batted .264 this season and drove in 24 runs. Schlesselman has accumulated 98 career hits and has appeared in 127 games.
Spronk graduated with a degree in Biology: Public Health and maintained a 3.70 grade point average. An All-GPAC selection in 2025, he posted a 6-3 record with 52 strikeouts in 49 innings pitched this season.
Vander Molen earned a degree in Business Administration: Marketing/Finance in three years and carried a 3.83 grade point average. He was also an All-GPAC selection this season. Vander Molen finished the year with a 4-7 record, 43 strikeouts, and 63 innings pitched.
To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must have attended their institution for at least one academic year, made significant contributions to their team, maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, and been nominated by a College Sports Communicators member.
