(Tuesday, July 21; Sioux Center, Iowa) Delta Pies, an Alcester-Hudson High School (South Dakota) graduate, has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender softball program.

Highlights: Batted .646 in 2026 with a .702 on base percentage and a 1.167 slugging percentage.  Had 119 hits in her career with 13 home runs, 100 runs scored and a career .504 batting average.  Member of a state runner up as a freshman, fourth place as a sophomore and third place as a junior.
