Dordt opened the 2026 Mount Marty Invitational with a team score of 291 (+3) on Monday, September 21, taking first place by 16 strokes over Midland at Tatanka Golf Club in Niobrara, Nebraska. Round two will be Tuesday.

Samuel Wolfe led the Defenders individually, firing a 1-under 71 to finish first in the 18-team field.
Joseph Wolfe followed with an even-par 72 for third place, while
Trey Van Groningen
shot a 73 (+1) and finished fourth.
Caleb Douma added a 75 (+3) to round out Dordt's scoring four.
Evan Wood carded a 77 (+5) and finished seventh overall, while
Ian Grossmann shot 79 (+7) and placed 19th.
The Defenders finished the opening round 12 strokes under Midland's four counting scores of 307. Dakota Wesleyan and Mount Marty tied for third at 315, with Briar Cliff fifth at 322.
