Emily Strasser

Strasser begins her first season as an assistant coach for the Dordt University women's volleyball program. 

Playing Career:

  • 5-year standout in both volleyball and softball for Northwestern College
  • earned all-conference honors four years in volleyball (2018-22)
  • 2x all-conference honors in softball (2023, 2021)
  • part of a Red Raider team that qualified for nationals five years
  • ranks second all-time in career digs (1,994) at Northwestern
  • ended career third all-time in digs / set (4.2) at Northwestern
  • played additional season for Southwest Minnesota State (2023)
  • part of a Mustangs team that was ranked sixth and qualified for the NCAA D-II national tournament

Coaching Career:

  • 2026 - present: Assistant Coach, Dordt University
  • 2024-26: Assistant Volleyball Coach, Southwest Minnesota State
    • helped the program achieve a 44-13 record
  • 2024-26: Assistant Softball Coach, Southwest Minnesota State
