(Thursday, May 18; Sioux Center, Iowa) Karly Lambert, a senior at Forest City High School (Iowa), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender basketball program.Â
Lambert averaged 7.7 points per game during her career with 2.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists per outing and she converted 32 percent of her three-point shots. Lambert was an honorable mention all-conference selection in 2022 and was picked to play in the IGCA All-Star Game and North Iowa All-Star Game. She's listed as a 5-6 guard. Â
"Dordt immediately felt like home for me. I was really drawn to the faith based aspect of learning and the sense of community at Dordt," said Lambert. Â
Karly is the daughter of Lee and Tammy Lambert of Forest City, Iowa. She plans to study nursing. Â
Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. The Defender athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC), American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) and the Mid-American Collegiate Hockey Association (MACHA).? Â
