(Tuesday, January 16; Sioux Center, Iowa) Kyleigh Reiter, a senior at Madison Comprehensive High School (Ohio), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender softball program.
Reiter played in 24 games in Spring 2023 and had a .526 batting average with a .718 slugging percentage with 41 hits, nine doubles, three homeruns and 35 runs batted in. She was a first-team all-district selection and earned second-team all-conference honors twice during her career.
"I chose to attend Dordt because it truly felt like home away from home where I belonged. Dordt's agriculture department as well as the softball program offered everything I was looking for in a college," said Reiter.
Kyleigh is the daughter of Fred and Mindi Reiter of Mansfield, Ohio. She plans to study agriculture.
