The Dordt Defenders lost a 3-0 decision to end the regular season on Tuesday night, November 5 in the regular season finale. The Defenders lost a 25-16, 25-16, 25-13 decision to Northwestern.

Dordt never led in set one and had the lead down to 16-13 after a
Sara Holleman kill. Northwestern went on to forge a 21-14 lead before Dordt got back to back points from blocks to bring it back to 21-16. Northwestern then won the next four points and took the set 21-16.
Northwestern carried the momentum into set two and grabbed an 8-1 lead with back to back points following for Dordt with a service error and a
Haley Kuperus kill. Dordt eventually got to within 12-9 but three straight by the Raiders put them back in control and they controlled the rest of the set for a 25-16 win.
Dordt scored a point to start set three but Northwestern effectively took control with 10 straight points and won a 25-13 contest to close the match.
