The Bulldogs got a two-out single to plate a run in the first and a wild pitch led to their second run in the third inning.
Dordt had runners as far as second in the first, fifth and sixth innings but didn't get the timely hit to get a run and had a runner on base  with two outs in the seventh before a fly  ball ended the game.

THE NUMBERS GAME 2
HOW IT HAPPENED

The Dordt Defenders managed split of their doubleheader with Concordia on Saturday with a 3-2 come-from-behind win in game two of the twinbill.

Concordia got a run in the first inning with a wild pitch and that held until the fourth inning when Chloe Kreuz reached on an error and advanced on a ground out. Ashtyn Grissom followed by putting the ball in play and  throwing error allowed her to reach and for Kreuz to score.

In the fifth inning a Brooke Rul double followed by a Karli Olsen walk forced a Concordia pitching change. A passed ball advanced the runners and Aurora Tyson's single scored Rule from third. A Kreuz single  got Karli Olsen in from third base for a 3-1 lead.

In the bottom of the fifth Concordia struck for a run and had runners at first and second before a runner's interference call ended the inning on ground ball where Emma Groen was run into trying to field the ball.

Dordt threatened in the sixth and seventh and stranded two runners in each and Concordia threatened against Dordt reliever Jadyn Faber but a Lauren Steenstra defensive gem at first base ended the threat. Faber worked a 1-2-3 seventh for her third save of the season.
