(Tuesday, October 21; Sioux Center, Iowa) The Great Plains Athletic Conference has announced its Volleyball Players-of-the-Week for matches played October 13-19 and Dordt's Carlee Jackson (Junior; Sioux City, Iowa) was named the Setter-of-the-Week.

Jackson averaged 6.7 assists per set for the Defenders as Dordt went 2-0 with wins over Briar Cliff and Midland to improve to 17-6 overall and 8-4 in the GPAC. Jackson averages 5.5 assist with 1.9 digs and has 32 ace serves. Against Briar Cliff Jackson had 28 assists in a sweep and then in Dordt's upset of Midland she accounted for 25 assists wtih 11 digs and three service aces.  

Dordt has won five of its last six matches and has four regular season matches remaining against Northwestern, Waldorf, Dakota Wesleyan, and Morningside. The GPAC postseason tournament will begin on Saturday, November 8.
