Last Time At Niobrara
Rachel Bostwick shot a school record 76 (+4) in today's final round to lead the Dordt University women's golf team to the team championship at the Tatanka Fall Invite held the last two days at the Tatanka Golf Club in Niobrara, Neb.
The Defenders shot a 333 in today's final round for a 36-hole total of 678 to win the title by three strokes over second place Mount Marty. Dordt's score today matched the Lancers' score for low round at the two-day tournament. Dakota Wesleyan was third (692), followed by the University of Jamestown (710) and Mount Marty's second team (829).
Bostwick fired a school-record 76 and finished second overall by one stroke to Kelsey Heath (Mount Marty), who earned overall medalist honors. Bostwick opened the tournament with an 85 on Monday for a 36-hole total of 161. The previous record (77) was held by Alyssa (Fedders) Colyn and shot at the Dordt Spring Invite in 2019.
Julia Love, the leader after Monday's first round, finished in a tie for third place overall with a two-day total of 164 (81/83).
Bailey Weg shot a career-best 81 in today's round, a 12-stroke improvement from Monday, to finish eighth overall with a 36-hole total of 174 (93/81).
Katherine Beekman finished just outside the top 10, placing 12th overall with a 180 (86/94).
Jillian Eidsness tied for 17th, closing the tournament with a 93, for a 36-hole score of 188.
Emily Knoche placed 19th overall with a 190 (100/90), scoring 10 strokes lower in today's round.

Last Time
The Dordt University women's golf team finished tied for fourth place at the two-day, 36-hole Siouxland Invite co-hosted by Dordt and Northwestern. The first round was played at The Ridge in Sioux Center and the final round was played at the Landsmeer Golf Club in Orange City.
In sixth place after Tuesday's first round played at The Ridge, the Defenders carded a 347 and moved up two spots in the final team standings. Dordt moved passed Mount Marty and caught Hastings, tying the Broncos with a 36-hole total of 696 (349/347). They shot the fourth lowest team score in today's final round.
Northwestern won the team title with a 661 (332/329), edging out Concordia by two strokes. Both teams fired a tournament-best 329 this afternoon.
Ashlee Sweeter was the top Defenders golfer as the sophomore tied for 15th place with a career-best, 36-hole total of 170 (86/84). Sweeter carded an 84 (+12) in today's final round, matching a career-best 18-hole score, and moved up three spots in the final standings.
Jillian Eidsness joined Sweeter in the top 20, finishing 19th with a 36-hole total of 171. The senior shot a final round 83 and moved up three spots in the standings.
Katherine Beekman,
Samantha Wilbur and
Hope Faber round out the Defender scores and finished within five places of each other. Beekman shot a 90 on both days and tied for 30th overall. Wilbur finished alone in 34th place with a 183 (93/90) and Faber was one stroke back in 35th place with a 184 (85/99).
Ollie Large placed 33rd with a career-best, 36-hole score of 182 (89/93) to lead the Defenders second team .
