The Dordt Defender men's golf team finished third at the Tatanka Fall Classic at Niobrara, Nebraska hosted by Jamestown on Monday and Tuesday, October 9 and 10, 2023.
David Chacon led the Defneders with a 75-76=151 and tied for sixth andÂ
Cole Feenstra had a 74-79=153 to finish in a tie for 12

Jamestown won the event with a 291-297=588 and Mount Marty's Junn Yong shot a 76-69=145 to win the event.

Last Time
The Dordt men's golf team finished fifth at the Siouxland Invite in play completed at Landsmeer in Orange City, Iowa. The 54 event featured 18 teams and 91 golfers in the 54-hole event on September 8 and 9.

The Defenders shot a 299-298-292=889 and trailed Doane with an 304-299-284=887 and Northwestern in third with a 297-297-289=883. The Defenders finished seven strokes in front of teams from Morningside and Northwestern.Â
Caleb Douma shot 72-73-73=218 to claim sixth place and Evan Wod had a 74-76-71=221 for 11th place. Hastings's Ryker Dunkley won the event with a 75-72-66=213 and was one stroke in front of the runner-up.Â
Samuel Wolfe's 70 on Tuesday is tied for ninth best in program history.
Dordt's next play is September 22-23 at a meet hosted by Mount Marty. Â Â
