Davelaar Named GPAC Runner of the Week

Isaac Davelaar was named the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Men's Track Runner of the Week announced by the league office earlier this week.

this is the second installment of the weekly awards for the 2026 indoor season and covers meets from Jan.5 - 11
Davelaar overtook Theo Moseman (Morningside) during the final lap to win the 600m at the Dordt Open last weekend
Davelaar's time of 1:20.86 is the fastest in the GPAC and currently ranks third in the NAIA
Davelaar's time hit the NAIA 'B' standard and qualifies for the NAIA Indoor Championships
Davelaar earned All-American honors in the 600m at last year's NAIA Indoor Championship with a fourth place finish
this is the fourth time Davelaar has earned the weekly GPAC honor in his career
