(Friday, January 9; Sioux Center, Iowa)  Tavyn Sichmeller, a senior at Sioux Falls Christian High School (South Dakota), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender volleyball program.

Honors and Stats: 314 kills in 2025 with 198 digs and 33 blocks; 2025 1st Team All-State and All-Conference; 2025 All-State Tournament team; South Dakota Miss Volleyball candidate  
Why Dordt:  "I chose Dordt because it's a great Christian university with a great community. I love playing volleyball and Dordt has a great program. It felt it is where God is calling me to be."
