GPAC Preseason Coaches Poll:

• the Great Plains Atheltic Conference (GPAC) released its annual preseason coaches' poll on Feb.1
• Dordt was picked to finish fourth out of 12 teams and totaled 83 points
• Midland was picked as the preseason favorite with 114 points and six first place votes
• Morningside (2nd) and Northwestern (3rd) follow Midland

Last Time Out:

• the Defenders went 4-0 at the first ASB Dome Classic last weekend
• Dordt outscored its opponents 17-6 in wins over York (Neb.), Culver-Stockton (Mo.), Mayville State (N.D.) and Bellevue (Neb.)
• Rylee Yager went 2-0 with a pair of complete-game wins against York and Bellevue
• Chloe Kreuz pitched a no-hitter on Friday night vs Culver-Stockton
• Yager led the Defenders at the plate with eight hits and three RBI while Lauren Steenstra totaled four hits, including two doubles
