The Dordt cheer and dance teams will compete at the Northwestern Invite on Friday and Saturday, February 13 and 14 in Orange City, Iowa.

THE COMPETITIONS
The cheer competition will feature teams from Northwestern, Concordia, York, Dordt, Mount Marty, Doane, Midland, Waldorf, Hastings and Dickinson State. 
 
The dance championship will feature Northwestern, York, Concordia, Doane, Dordt, Morningside, Viterbo, College of Saint Mary, Midland, Hastings and Peru State.

HISTORY
Dordt competed in last year's event and finished fifth in the dance competition with 71.23 points and was fourth in the cheer competition with 77.15 points. The competition was held on February 14 and 15 last season.

RECENTLY
Both Dordt teams competed at the Concordia Invite on Saturday, February 7. The dance team scored 89.58 for third place and 72.33 in the cheer competition to place seventh.
